The Jack and Jill of America Foundation’s annual grant application cycle opens January 1. Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s online grant portal and are scheduled to remain open through March 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Applicants should be aware that March 15 is the scheduled closing date and is not guaranteed for every grant category. Due to increased demand for grant funding and the significant growth in applications experienced during the 2026–2027 grant cycle, an individual grant category may close before March 15 if the number of applications submitted exceeds the Foundation’s operational capacity for that category. As a result, grant categories may close at different times based on application volume.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to begin and submit their applications as early as possible after the grant cycle opens on January 1 and not rely on March 15 as a guaranteed submission deadline.

If a grant category is scheduled to close early, applicants with an application in Draft status for that category will be notified by email through the Foundation’s grant portal. Applications must be completed and submitted by the closing date and time
communicated in that notice to be considered for funding. Beginning an application or having an application in Draft status does not reserve a submission opportunity or guarantee that the category will remain open through March 15.

Based on historical application volume, early closure is more likely for the Our Village, Heart and Mind Health & Wellness Agency, and STEM grant categories. However, any of the Foundation’s six grant categories may close before March 15 if application volume exceeds the Foundation’s operational capacity.
