Foundation grant funding is distributed exclusively by ACH direct deposit according to the funding and reporting schedule established for each grant. Grantees are responsible for maintaining documentation of all grant-funded expenditures.
Required reports must include the applicable supporting documentation for eligible grant expenditures. Subsequent grant disbursements are processed only after the Foundation has reviewed and approved the required report and supporting documentation.
By the conclusion of the grant, documentation on file with the Foundation must account for all grant funds expended. Any unspent grant funds or grant funds used for expenses that are determined to be ineligible must be returned to the Foundation as directed.
Grant funding is distributed exclusively by ACH direct deposit. If your organization’s banking information changes during the grant period, please notify the Foundation as soon as possible and before your next scheduled disbursement. Do not wait until a scheduled funding date to report banking changes. Updated banking documentation may be required before additional grant funds can be disbursed.
The grant applicant/contact identified in the Foundation’s grant management platform, WizeHive (Submittable), is the sole authorized portal contact for the grant. Only one individual may be associated with the grant portal profile at a time.
If responsibility for managing the grant needs to be transferred to another individual within your organization or Chapter, please contact the Foundation at grants@jackandjillfoundation.org. The Foundation can update the grant record and replace the existing portal contact with the new authorized contact.
Portal access should not be shared between individuals.
All grantees are required to submit grant reports according to the reporting schedule established for their awarded grant. Depending on the approved program timeline, reporting may include a Preliminary Report and will include a Final Report.
Reporting forms are made available through the Foundation’s grant management platform and may be accessed by the authorized portal contact for the grant. Grantees will receive email notification when a required report becomes available.
Required reports and supporting documentation must be submitted by the applicable deadlines. Grantees with outstanding required reports are not eligible for consideration for future Foundation grant funding until all outstanding reporting requirements have been satisfied.
Grantees should contact the Foundation before making significant changes to an approved program, project timeline, budget, program partner, or use of grant funds. If you encounter circumstances that may affect your ability to implement the program as approved or meet a reporting deadline, please contact the Foundation at grants@jackandjillfoundation.org as soon as possible so we can discuss the appropriate path forward.
Grantees are responsible for keeping their grant information current. Please notify the Foundation promptly of changes to your organization’s or Chapter’s primary contact information, leadership, legal name, or other information that may affect administration of the grant. Changes to the authorized grant portal contact must be requested through the Foundation as described above.
As part of our efforts to understand and share the impact of Foundation grantmaking, grantees may be asked to participate in a virtual or in-person site visit conducted by the Foundation or its representatives, or to provide a short impact video. The Foundation appreciates grantees’ cooperation with these requests and the opportunity to learn more about the programs and communities supported through Foundation funding.
Grantees should acknowledge the Foundation’s support in print and electronic communications related to the funded program, including newsletters, program announcements, websites, social media, and media coverage.
When acknowledging Foundation support, please use the Foundation logo and the following language:
“This program or project is funded, in whole or in part, by the Jack and Jill of America Foundation.”
When listing the grant in an annual report, donor listing, or similar publication, please identify the applicable Foundation philanthropic focus area: Education; Health & Wellness; or Family Stabilization & Opportunity (Our Village).
