We’re really excited about all of the enthusiasm and interest from chapters about the Foundation’s investment of $85,000 in communities throughout the United States! We’re also proud to use this grant to build and leverage partnerships in communities around our grant investment areas: Parent Education and Supports; Access to Healthcare; and, Early Childhood Education.
Just as a reminder, here is the grant process timeline:
November 1 — January 1: Chapter Registration
November 1 — February 28: Identify and verify Chapter’s 501c3 partner. Eligibility will be approved by the Grant Review Board on a rolling basis from November 1 — March 15.
March 16, 2016: Final approval of all 501c3 partner announced
March 16 — April 1, 2016: Application window for 501c3’s to submit grant applications
April 2 — April 20, 2016: Grant Review Board reviews and approves grants. 501c3 partners will be notified on a rolling basis during this time.
June 15, 2016: Grant award announcements
June 22, 2016: Grantee Orientation
July 1, 2016: Disbursement of funds
